Product Specification
Magnetic separation depends on size of the particle, viscosity of fluid, magnetic filed density and time in contact witjh the magnetic filed. When particles to be separated are fine, increasing contact time is necessary. Candle type magnetic separator achieves this.

Fine magnetic dirt is attracted to the magnetic candle surface and is pulled out of fluid with moving candles. The dirt collected is scraped off on the scrapers placed above the fluid surface. A Conveyer under the scrapers (or a chute in smaller models ) collects the dirt and lots it to the bin outside the tank.

PERFORMANCE
Magnetic candle separator is usually arranged for larger flow application, for separation of fine dirt. Its performance is much better compared to a drum type magnetic separator for reasons already narrated.

This separator can handle 15 micron magnetic particles from water based coolants.

ADVANTAGES AND LIMITATIONS
• This is a very reliable simple separator.
• This can effectively handle large flows.
• For fine magnetic particles this type of separator is quite effective.
• Quite useful to handle large quantities of magnetic particles.
• This can easily handle chips up to 3 mm size.
• This connot be used for smaller systems in the exising design (SAM is already working on effective units)
